Hello from Mr. Brooks and Ms. Lucy!

Mr. Brooks:

This year marks my 5th year teaching 4th grade! I graduated from St. Norbert College, in Green Bay, WI with a degree in elementary education and a minor in history. Before joining the team at ASD, I taught in a suburb of Milwaukee, WI. I love spending time in the classroom, and love to create hands on projects for students to enjoy. I recognize the need for high-quality and rigorous education, and I seek to create a classroom and environment that provides that depth while also being nurturing and fun for all students. In my free time, I'm a sports fan, a lover of history, travel, and the outdoors.

Ms. Lucy:

I am Lucy Anya known by students as Ms. Lucy.

This is my 14th year working in different elementary grade levels-grades 5, 4, 3 and back to 4th grade here at ASD. I obtain my Bachelor's degree at the Anglo-Saxon University of Buea, in the Southwest Region of Cameroon. In addition to that, in 2021 I completed the International Teaching Elementary Certification at Moreland University (Teachnow).
